In one of the most beautiful places of the Gavi region, Gian Piero Broglia manages an area of approximately 73 hectares (42 of which are dedicated to the Cortese grape and five to varieties and red-berry grape). Meirana and Bruno Broglia prove to be among the most consistent and trustworthy of the region's wine tables.

A company of proven reliability, put its first bottles on sale in 1974, the year in which Gavi was awarded D.O.C (Italian standard in quality assurance).

Of excellent merit, Gavi di Gavi Bruno Broglia 2003 is soft, rounded, broad and enveloping: a white delicately spiced wine. To be matured to accentuate its smoothness, a tangy result of the other distinct Gavi wines.

The Meirana with its notes of fresh fruit and the Bruno Broglia with its « tardive» style are this year's most distinctive Gavi wines produced by Gian Piero Broglia. Gian Piero Broglia's demonstrats his love for the Cortese grape by dedicating 42 of almost 50 hectares to the grape on a landholding nestled at Italy's doors.

Bruno Broglia was the founder and first to take charge of the farm, which was subsequently let out to his son Piero in 1972. Two years later, Gavi was awarded DOC status, coinciding with the vineyard's first wines going on the market: a felicitous moment that "baptised" the first bottles. Today the vineyard has expanded, the farms have been restructured and the cellars originally built in 1982 have been enlarged. The great Gavi il La Meiranacharacterised by its finish, mineral notes, length on the palate and fresh tones. The Gavi Bruno Broglia stands out with a delicate finish with hints of almond.

As one of the leading Gavi wine producers, it is logical that it specialises in the production of this white wine that is enjoying a new season of revaluation
