Monferrato d.o.c. RED

This is the only red wine produced at Meirana and is obtained by the wine-processing of dolcetto grapes of our old vineyards planted in 1953/55 with a yield of 30 quintals per hectare.

The production is very small and reserved to the most qualified customers. The winy and floreal flavour is the result of a special process which preserves all the peculiarity of tastes typical of the Gavi area.

The flavour of the "Le Pernici" is pleasantly caressing, harmonious, dry and with an agreeable taste of almonds. It is a wine for the entire meal but its character enhances white meat dishes above all.

Serving temperature: 14 - 16 degrees C.
